About the Artist

Hi! My name is Marina Zhadan and I am a watercolor artist based on Cape Cod. I started painting when I was a little girl in Kyrgyzstan. I am passionate about every aspect of the medium, as it is whimsical, magical, and always unique. The fluidity and unpredictability of watercolors inspire me to explore and create, resulting in unique pieces that tell their own stories. It’s impossible to make a copy of your own painting! For me, painting is a life-long journey and I continue to master it every time due to the love and support of my family: my husband, our two sons and 4 Golden Retrievers. So actually 6 kids! I enjoy walking and gardening. Nature is where my inspiration comes from!
